Complex Projects Consulting Inc. specializes in the planning and development of public sector assets and development projects, many recognized for their excellence and innovation.

Complex Projects is an independent management consulting firm incorporated in the Province of British Columbia in 2017. Complex Projects was created by Monica Morgan after an almost thirty year career working in various leadership positions in the provincial government, corporate/private sector and non-profit organizations. Complex Project specializes in the complete project management life cycle including strategic planning, options analysis, business cases, design, construction and implementation. Complex Projects carries required insurance policies for work in British Columbia including Comprehensive General Liability, Errors and Omissions, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and Workers Compensation Board.

Monica Morgan | CMC, MLAI, PMP, LEED AP BD+C

Monica Morgan is a Project Management and Real Estate Development Consultant with three decades of experience in the public, private and non-profit/community sectors. A results-oriented leader, she has a proven track record working with executives, community leaders and diverse project teams to develop and implement complex capital projects, mixed use developments and unique programs of projects, many recognized for their innovation and excellence. She has gained valuable experience in many fields and specializes in publicly owned land, built infrastructure and special projects.

Monica often works through the complete project life cycle from strategic and portfolio planning to project initiation, master planning, options analysis, concept/business planning, design and construction. She also has experience with various forms of procurement including Design Bid Build, Design/Build and alternate finance/Public Private Partnerships.

In addition to running her company and raising a family, Monica is on the Executive Board and Membership Committee of the Vancouver Chapter of Lambda Alpha International – a global, honourary urban land economics society. Monica previously volunteered as an independent Board Member of Great Northern Way Trust Campus and was Chair of the Real Estate Committee. She is a current member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and past member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) BC Chapter and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Vancouver Chapter.
