Centre for Childhood Studies Business Case

Centre for Childhood Studies Business Case

Capilano University is in the process of building a new two-story, 22,000 sq. ft building at the main campus in North Vancouver to house an additional 74-space childcare center (24 infant/toddler and 50 preschool spaces) on the ground floor and purpose-built labs, a classroom, student study space and administrative space on the second floor (the Project). The Project will double the capacity of childcare space on campus to promote overall student enrolment and retention, and to facilitate growth (up to 25%) in admissions to the University’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programs.

Complex Projects was retained to re-write an earlier draft of the business case for the Centre for Childhood Studies in order to obtain additional capital funding from the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.
